Highlights
At Genability and GridX, I succesfully led development of large, complex energy industry data products from concept through launch. As a lead engineer, engineering manager and product manager, I led globally remote engineering, design and operations teams to succesful product deployment, and measurably increased operations efficiency. My work included prototyping AI document extraction systems to accelerate availability and coverage of utility tariff data.
At Genability, I co-created a new customer facing role combining technical and domain expertise, providing custom technical solutions for customers including the largest DER providers and EV companies in the United States. I led consultations with customers, led research and prototyping efforts, and delivered functional software, documentation, and implementation guidance.
Since 2019, I have led multiple large-scale interactive art installations through development, fundraising, production and performance. I have led teams of 30+ people and managed budgets up to $25,000. My work has appeared in art festivals, self-produced exhibitions, and permanent public art installations.
As editor of Street Sheet, I led a design refresh of the newspaper and a marketing campaign to promote it. I won competitive grant funding, led a committee of seven people, collaborated with a designer on a new logo and visual design, created an ad concept and wrote copy, earned local media exposure, and organized a successful launch event.
